Revolutionary Guide to Human Connection

In a world that feels more disconnected than ever, I hold a different truth—one shaped by a lifetime of sitting with people in their rawest, most real moments.

I’ve learned that connection doesn’t come from proving, pleasing or performing—it comes from showing up with an open heart and steady presence.

From that long apprenticeship in life and love emerged The Art of Connected Presence —a living, evolving approach to parenting, leadership, and human relationship. It’s not theory. It’s the practice of remembering how to connect deeply and live fully.

A Legacy Written in Hearts, Not Textbooks

It began with one mother refusing inadequate childcare.
What followed was a quiet revolution in human connection.

For over 40 years at Highgate House School in Hong Kong, I’ve worked with thousands of children and families from dozens of cultures—reshaping how we grow, relate, and thrive together. I’ve founded multiple early childhood centres, but the real story lives in the human moments:

The mother who found her voice.
The teenager who discovered their purpose.
The family who learned to truly see each other.

The Art of Connected Presence

This 7-stage framework was born from lived experience—real families, real classrooms, real struggles. It helps people move from reactivity to presence, from emotional distance to deep relationship, and it meets people where they are through three distinct pathways:

  • Connected Pregnancy Practice – Reclaiming sacred beginnings

  • Present Parent Practice – Deeper connections, naturally

  • Conscious Leadership Practice – Leading from presence, not pressure

From the Heart of Childhood

My book, From the Heart of Childhood: Reclaiming Presence for Connection, maps the threefold journey of childhood:

  • Truth in the Body (0–7): Building unshakeable foundations

  • Beauty in the Soul (7–14): Awakening emotional and imaginative life

  • Goodness in the Spirit (14–21): Supporting authentic purpose

Childhood is not something to manage—it is a sacred unfolding.

My Path Here

I didn’t arrive at this calling in a straight line. I worked in London’s luxury hotels, Hong Kong real estate, and recruitment before finding my home in early childhood education, healing, mentoring and spiritual study and practice.

As a mother of four and grandmother of two, as a leader in education, I’ve known the overwhelm, the questioning, and the longing for something more real. That’s why this work matters to me—it’s not just professional expertise, it’s lived truth.

The Listening Revolution

Through my practice pathways and small-group retreats, I create spaces where people feel heard in ways they’ve never experienced. This is not passive listening—it’s listening that liberates, generates, dissolves old patterns, and reconnects us to ourselves and to each other.

A Global Vision, Intimately Delivered

Across cultures and continents, I’ve witnessed a universal truth: the longing for real connection. My work bridges East and West, ancient wisdom and modern life, inner transformation and outer practice. Whatever your background, you belong here.

An Invitation

I’m not here with all the answers. I’m here as a sacred companion—holding space for you to remember who you are beneath the roles and expectations.

This isn’t about learning set techniques or one-size-fits-all strategies. It’s about understanding human development and honouring the individuality of each person’s experience—whether you’re raising a child, leading a team, or seeking a deeper way of living.

It’s about becoming fully human. Fully present. Fully alive.

What’s calling you?
